Fall Trip to MO...

Ebby Lee and Grandma Hency
After a nasty blowout RIGHT before boarding the plane, this is what Ebby Lee looked like when we arrived in Missouri. I felt the need to keep telling people, "she was wearing pants, but she had an accident". (Just so people would know that I did dress her...just forgot to pack an extra outfit.)
Ebby Lee and Grandpa Hency...they were so excited to see her. We called as soon as we got to my mom's house and they drove RIGHT over. I think Ebby Lee was excited to see them too!

On Thursday night, we went to the Zalma volleyball game. T-Nonna had this onesie and bow made for her. She had fun cheering those Zalma Bulldogs on!

A new trick Ebby Lee learned...how to drink out of a sippy cup. She's not that great yet, but she's working on it.

She's so messy when she eats...we decided to just undress her!

Grandma Campbell and Ebby Lee
On Friday we went to my Uncle Kelly's and Aunt Sandi's house for lunch. Aunt Sandi had prepared a SPREAD!! I felt like it was Thanksgiving. It was really cold outside and she had a table FULL of delicious food!

Kyle got down in the floor and played with her. She was really enjoying herself.

2nd trick she learned...how to hold her own bottle. It is a trick that is coming in handy! On Friday night we were just hanging out at my mom's house. There was just a little bit of a bottle left that she hadn't finished. She rolled over there and put it right in her mouth. I was so excited! The ridiculous things moms get excited over...right?

She rolled right under the end table.

On Saturday morning, after lots of playing and reading...she passed right out in the middle of a good book.

Ebby Lee and Yak Yak
On Saturday, we met the family to eat and then went to walk around the mall. We ran into Yak-Yak. Yak-Yak was a staple at birthday parties when I was little. She happens to be the preacher's wife at my hometown church. She was doing a little promotion at Macy's. We were so excited to see her. We made her stop and pose for a picture.

Ebby Lee and Yak-Yak

On Sunday after church, the whole family came over for lunch. This is Ebby Lee and Grandpa Hency.

Ebby Lee sportin' her new bow.

Uncle Dale thought that new bow was so cool. He had to try it out.

The party was over so it was bath time. (The stopper had been washed REALLY well.) We had a great trip to Missouri and are looking forward to going back over Christmas!

Ebby Lee is 6 Months Old...

She's 6 months old and so big!! She is rolling around like crazy...but not crawling just yet. Tab was out of town this weekend so Ebby Lee and I loaded up and went to Ft. Worth to visit a college roommate, Erin. It was a great Girls' Weekend! We watched lots of Friends episodes, shopped, and ate yummy food.
Who knew that if you let your child chew on her brown leather shoe it would turn it mouth brown?? Not me! Shopping in the cold in Ft. Worth.

She's eating a peach out of one of those meshy things. She loves it by the way.

Check out her crazy bow!

Chillin' on the couch with Daddy.

Pumpkin Patch...

We started off the day with a visit to M and G's. They had friends from AR in for the Arkansas/A & M game. So, we stopped by for a quick visit.
Who knew that the pumpkin patch had a petting zoo, hayride, and food?? Not me!! The goat was not interested in our food.

But...the cows were very interested!

Ebby Lee was checking those big cows out!

Still checking them out.

She was really interested in those cows!

All dressed up for the pumpkin patch.

This was out at the actual pumpkin patch. When we got out there, the sun started REALLY shining, so she had her eyes closed in most of the pictures.

So bright!

Relaxing with those pumpkins.

Ebby Lee and Mama...I don't know why I'm making that funny face. Tab informed me that he doesn't look at me when he's taking pictures. He just assumes that I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
Playing with those pumpkins.

Family pic...attempt #1 REALLY WINDY

Family pic...attempt #2 STILL WINDY

All pumpkin patched out and headed to the car. We had a really fun time. There weren't that many actual pumpkins left in the patch, but there was lots to do and lots to see.

Snuggling with Daddy...

Tab was not naked. I feel like I must get that out there. When she woke up this morning, I put her in bed with us and this is what she did...snuggled with Daddy.
Still lovin' on him.

Playing at M's...

Tab had a football game on Friday night. Gary decided to go watch him perform. So, Ebby Lee and I went over to hang out at M's house. M has this really cool monkey toy and dances and lights up. We propped a bunch of pillows up around her and she attempted to sit and play.
M was trying to get her to smile for the picture. That's who she's looking at.

If Baby #2 is a boy, this is what I envision him to look like. Tab and Ebby Lee both have these Ghostbuster shirts (pics of that to come later). Ebby Lee was wearing a big red bow in her hair, but it was off for the pictures. So...she did manage to make her Ghostbuster shirt girly.

Checkin' out the monkey.

Randomness...

After a long morning of playing, Ebby Lee decided to fall asleep...in the exersaucer. For those of you that know her, this is NOT normal. She likes to put up a fight before she dozes off. I was so surprised. I had to take a picture!

Sweet sweet clean baby!!

She was being silly in Daddy's hat.

Ebby Lee had a rough week! She started running a low temperature (her first one EVER) on Tuesday night. She still had it Wednesday morning so I gave her Tylenol every 4 hours on Wednesday and in the afternoon it started going up. Probably b/c it was my first fever to ever deal with...I called the doctor and we went in. They ran every test imaginable and sent us home to go back on Thursday. Luckily, everything was coming back negative...but they kept doing tests because everything was coming back negative. This was Ebby Lee when we got home on Thursday. She'd had her finger pricked, one attempt at getting her blood drawn, one arm that actually got blood drawn, and antibiotic shots in both thighs. We had to go back for two more shots on Friday morning. She is now doing SO much better. We've been fever free for over 48 hours!
