Last weekend Tab and the kiddos dropped me off at the airport on Friday morning and I headed to Nashville, Tennessee, to visit some of the fabulous girls in my family. Lindsey married Curt this summer and they live in Nashville. So..Aunt Rene', Grandma, and Whitney drove over Friday morning to get Lindsey. Then they ALL came to pick me up at the airport. We grabbed lunch and then the first stop was the flea market! I was envisioning it to be like Canton here in Texas. They were very different, but this is the place for furniture! They had some of the cutest furniture! I already warned Tab that we might be making a haul to Nashville to buy some furniture!
After shopping we went to Lindsey's apartment to relax for a few minutes. Next stop was a Nashville staple...The Wild Horse Saloon for dinner/line dancing.
One side of the table...
Proof that we were "getting down" on the dance floor! ha!
Super fun night! So nice to sit and eat dinner without worrying about little people!!
The next morning we went to the Loveless Cafe for brunch. Delish!!
My mom and Kelly got to Nashville late on Friday night so they were ready to join our fun Saturday morning. We had a GREAT day filled with shopping and a few minutes of down time before dinner and a movie.
Yummy mexican dinner before seeing Safe Haven. What a great movie!!
It was a wonderful weekend. So blessed to have great girls in my family to spend a weekend with! And...so thankful for my sweet hubby, who was totally on board for me having a weekend away! With all those football trips, a weekend away for Mama in the spring is a new tradition and DEFINITELY one I want to keep. :)
