Marla's Birthday Party #2

After we picked Ebby Lee up from school on Friday, we arrived to THIS on our door.  It was a VERY fancy birthday invitation from Marla to the kiddos.  I told her that Ebby Lee was SO upset she couldn't go to M's birthday party.  So...Marla decided to throw a little party for the kids.  So sweet!

We went over on Saturday (after Oktoberfest a couple weekends ago...we all changed into comfy clothes for this party) for M's Birthday Party #2.  Ebby Lee kept asking where all her friends were.  ha!  I don't think she realized it was a party JUST for them!  :)

Marla had the perfect party activity.  She had pumpkins for the kiddos to paint and decorate.

She already had stencils on the pumpkins, so the kiddos each painted their letter.

I'm pretty sure this was Bowen's first time to hold a paint brush.

This girl is ALL about some crafts...right up her alley!

I mean look how hard they're all concentrating!!

Remember...it was B's first time with the paint brush??  He ended up with paint EVERYWHERE!

The finished products :)

We had dinner and then went for a walk in the "forest".  Marla and Gary have a bike trail through their neighborhood and my kiddos love it!  The weather was GREAT!  We actually walked past a girl who looked so familiar.  I asked who her third grade teacher was and it was ME!!  haha!  I thought I recognized her.  She was so sweet to my kiddos.  And...she was so pretty!!  Crazy how those third graders grow up into such cute high schoolers!!

Ebby Lee took this picture and she said, "Mom, look!  It's like Jesus came right down to earth."

We had to take a break to pause in front of this crazy tree.

We ended the night with dessert, baths, and a movie!!

The BEST birthday party EVER!!
