Tell Me Your Favorite...

I know some of you girls have some fabulous apps on your phone and I'd LOVE for you to share them with us all!  I have one problem...not enough storage on my phone.  I'm constantly deleting apps to make room for something at need right at that second.  Well maybe I have two problems...I need to delete a bunch of pictures, emails, and messages AND I don't have enough storage on my phone.  :)

These are my favorites...
I use this app to make collages or to add graphics to pictures.

Of course I love Instagram!!  :)

With this Bible app, you can read a ton of different translations, you have be sent daily devotions, and much much more.  Our Sunday School teacher puts our lesson online, so we can follow right along with his lesson in class.  And...our pastor puts the sermon outline on there as well.

Pic Stitch
This little app helps you make super easy and quick collages.  I use this app to make a collage and the A Beautiful Mess app if I need to add text to any picture.

This is our favorite way to listen to music.  At any given time if you walk by our backyard, you might hear anything from Motown to Christmas carols.  We play it all on Pandora!

Facebook
And...of course I have the Facebook app on my phone.

Bible for Kids/Netflix/Disney Princess Palace Pets
These are a few others I've had at times but have had to move around because of space.

Now it's your turn.  What are your favorite apps?

Tomorrow is another post in the Owning It series.  You don't want to miss it!

Carter has SEVERAL games downloaded on my phone, and they are SUCKING ALL OF MY STORAGE! Problem is, he actually plays them all...and he's advanced to higher levels on the game so now he would freak if I erased them. What's a girl with 1,000,000 e-mails and 3,000 pictures to do?

Um, I need suggestions, so I'm super excited to read these!! My favorite apps are the Starbucks app (you can order your drinks in advance now!) and Spotify!!

Whoa!!! I did not know that about Starbucks!!

Great suggestions! I like the Target Cartwheel and Amazon apps plus PicTapGo! :)

Group me. We used this at our last swim meet to keep up with called events because it was hard to hear.

Google photo offers unlimited photo storage space. The Best!!!

Awesome recommendations! I have a celebrity gossip addiction so the E! app is a must! 👍Retail Me Not is great for coupons for tons of stores.

I use the Target Cartwheel and Target Redperks app a lot. I know the Redperks app is still in Beta in some areas so it may not be available for use everywhere. I also like the She Reads Truth app for their Bible plans and Scripture lockscreens. Pinterest is perfect for me when I'm waiting somewhere and have some time to kill.

I think I use my Starbucks app every day :)
& I can't live without Instagram & different photo apps - I'm always checking to see which one is the best.
I don't know how I didn't have Pandora on my phone but I downloaded the C25K app & downloaded Pandora to keep the music flowing during it. A great combo!

I love the book creator app! I've used it with my kdg students and now I use it with my 3 year old. He made a story about picking out his clothes and getting dressed, complete with his own photos and video clips. We watch it first thing in the moring to be proactive about dressing without a meltdown! :)

Love TimeHop, Amazon Photo (if you're a prime member it backs your photos up automatically from your phone), and of course Bloglovin!

My favorite apps- Nordstrom, Dominis pizza (I can order emergency pizza on the way home), Amazon Prime Now (I had foot surgery and they deliver groceries in 2 hours!!!), Coupon Mountain (store coupons all in one spot!)

Kiddo aps- Charades (must have for MD appt), hangman for kids and Cover Orange (Great game that teaches young kids physics and problem solving and...I play too!!)

Yes to the Bible app! I like using it more than more "normal" Bible because I can check other translations in church.

My favorite app of the moment is Bloglovin' app! It's so easy to scroll through everyone's posts on my phone, so I can keep up with my favorite blogs when I just have a couple minutes of time to kill (like standing in line for coffee or waiting for one of my students to show up). It's great! And once I've read a blog post, it's taken off my "unread" feed so I can feel like I've accomplished something for my morning. Haha.

Target Cartwheel app, Retail Me Not (search for coupons for just about any store or restaurant) and Tony Evans (his podcasts are amazing. So much of my spiritual growth has come from listening to his sermons).

Periscope is my new favorite. You can watch live video streams of people.

Love that you're doing this! I'm always looking for new apps! I also love cartwheel, Fitbit, gas buddy, yelp, simplified planner by Emily Ley, first 5 by proverbs 31, plugged in-movie reviews from focus on the family, and Wikipedia are some of my favorites. :) Totally hear ya about the memory problems! I got a new phone for Christmas, and I'm already wishing I would've done 128gb.

In addition to all the ones you listed I use The Pinterest app and Lifetime Group Fitness app all the time. I'm from Minnesota though, so I am not sure how many Lifetime's are in Texas that app may not be as useful to you as it is to me :)

I have the "must haves" of Facebook and Pandora of course, but my favorite since January 2013 has been Photo365. I have not missed even one day and absolutely love to look back and see what photos I took last year or 2 years ago on that exact day. Fun way to photo diary. I only use a picture that I took that day, never allowing myself to find something from a day or two previous.

My favourite puzzle game is TwoDots. It's addicting! I'm on level 283...but I've been working at it for quite some time ;) I share your pain about not enough space - I'm limited with music too!! :(

I love the pic stitch app, too! My favorites are InstaSize, IMDb, Dubsmash, and my most recent Bible Memory app!

Rhonna Designs and photofy are my fav picture apps!!! They are AMAZING!!

Daily Mail for some gossip, the Target Cartwheel App I just found out about a month ago and am obsessed with it and The Goods - it tells you what's in stock at the Home Goods' near your house. Dubsmash is always good for a laugh too :)

Kelley Cerny said...

My favorite app is also Starbucks!!! Nothing is more convenient than ordering my latte before I leave my house and getting to skip the line when I walk in! And of course, Pinterest is always a fave.

I love target cartwheel app and girl the mobile order from the Starbucks app is pure genius. I mean you order your drink, walk into the store and just grab your drink. It's so great

If you don't already have the Timehop App, you NEED it. Especially if you're really into social media. Every day you get a recap of everything that you posted on FB, Insta, Twitter, etc. 1 year ago, 2 years ago, 3 years ago, and so on. Just be careful because it will totally make you cry when you see all of the old pictures of your babies!!

Waze is my favorite app. I work in Washington DC and its a must to have! Tells you the best way to get to your destination, what traffic is like, the speed of cars in the higher traffic areas, accidents, objects on the side of the road and where cops are running radar (for those of us with a slight lead foot).

Such a fun post! I occasionally read your blog and love your post today. My favorite app (yes, I am biased bc I work for them. ha!) is the Field Agent app. It is an app that pays shoppers (you and me) for doing small tasks in stores and at home. Jobs pay anywhere from $2-$20! An example job could be going to your nearest Target and capturing a couple photos of the cosmetic section. It's so easy and you are paid through a PayPal account.

Also worth mentioning is that we are headquartered in Arkansas :) Thanks for the app post! http://fieldagent.net/

Word swag is one of my faves! Little tutorial over here http://queeninbetween.blogspot.com/2015/04/friday-favorites-find-your-word-swag.html
So much fun lots of different things including adding words to pictures! I also love, love, love Timehop!

Oh...and I know most people have satellite or car radios that identify the name of a song but I love the Shazam app for when I hear a song and want to remember it for later....you just click and it listens to a clip and identifies.

I like your suggestions - there is a game our whole family can get into, Little Alchemy, from my little man on up we have fun making new creations! I like my map app, to avoid sitting in so much traffic!

Love these types of posts! I think I will also do a post like this. My favorite are: Instagram, Snapchat, Timehop, Freeprints, and shopular! - Seri from www.Serisblog.com

Google Cloud Backup is my BEST app. It makes sure that every picture, video, calendar appointment, contact, email, etc is all backed up on our cloud drives which are then setup to backup every hour on our home network. So if I am on vacation anywhere in the world and lose my phone, I only lose the pictures from the last hour (or less!).

Next, I use MyFitnessPal, Twitter and Instagram daily. I also use Flightaware and TripCase all the time for work travel (and family travel as well). I also use Sabre Red, but that is for Travel Agents.

And of course, Weather Channel app is another one that is always going on my phone to keep track of weather in other parts of the country and world because it affects my client's flights.

Since I have so many apps running all the time, I also keep my Anker external charger with me at all times, so that I never have a dead phone. I can charge 8 times from 0-100% before needing to recharge my Anker.

Viggle- you earn points for products by checking into TV shows. You don't have to watch the tv show...just check in the first minute or so.
ShopKick- you earn points by walking into stores and scanning different products. I've received a few target gift cards from this. :)
GasBuddy- shows you the cheapest gas price around you

Smilebox is a great app! And of course Starbucks!

Oh goodness! The frustration I have with not enough storage- when I first got my phone I had so many apps and I'm down to the bare minimum now! I have trouble with downloading my pics- then my kids end up deleting pictures (without my knowledge/permission) to make room for more, ugh! I need to get this under control!!;)

Enlight is a great editing app. I just dl The First Five. It's designed so that you set your alarm through the app and give your first five minutes of your day to God with a devotion. I also like Next Episode because it helps you track shows, when they are on, an what you've missed. Periscope. YouTube Kids (my girls are obsessed). Free Prints you get 85 free prints a month, use my code mdavis422 and you get free shipping on your first order (you also get your first 10 prints free). Oh and Candy Crush.

A few other faves: She Reads Truth, KidsDoc (SUPER helpful for any & all medical issues for kids - my pediatrician recommended it), Grocery IQ (I use this for all of my grocery lists), & Evernote is great too! I have the same problem with space on my phone! #neverenough
