Friday Favorites

Andrea, Narci, and I are hosting another Friday Favorites!  Join us by blogging your faves, linking back, and then add your blog to the link-up!

We survived our first week of school.  Now we all need to CRASH early tonight and sleep until 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.  The Slaughters are TIRED!   I thought I'd change it up today and instead of showing you a bunch of random stuff I'm going to share with you some of my favorite products.  I have all kinds of fave products and want to make sure you know about them too.  :)

Today I'm sharing products you'd find in my bathroom:
I shared my favorite make-up products here.  I still use those very same products.  They're all my favorites!  I've heard about a couple other good mascaras.  I think it's time for me to try something new.  Please...I'd love some mascara recommendations!!

Shay blogged about these Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow Sticks a while back.  I gave one a try.  I purchased the Golden Pink.  One word for this stick....EASY!  You just swipe some on your eyes and it's over!  Crazy easy!!

She also shared this Laura Geller bronzer.  I've been using it as a blush/bronzer and it gives me the perfect amount of color!  I will say that a little goes a long me!

Last year in the fall I began using Rodan + Fields Reverse regimen to get rid of all those dark spots I got over the summer.  I was amazed at how much my face brightened up!  I've ordered my new Reverse and am anxiously awaiting it to arrive so I can start this regimen again.

If you have dark spots or sun spots and would like to tackle those with R + F, please shoot me an e-mail!  I'd LOVE to help you with your skin care needs.

Maybe dark spots aren't your struggle?  No matter what skin issues you have, R +F has something that can help!  Again...please e-mail to learn more!  This month if you sign up as a Preferred Customer, you'll receive a $25 gift card to a store of your choice.  New consultants who sign up on my team can receive as much as $200 to go towards their new business kit.

Every time I need new shampoo or conditioner you can bet that I try something new.  I was at Kroger last week and remembered I needed new shampoo and conditioner, so I tried this John Frieda Beach Blonde shampoo and conditioner.

After washing my hair, I use this leave-in product and let it air dry for a while.

This wet brush that I read about from some other blogger a year or two ago is a lifesaver for both me and Ebby Lee.
I use Moroccanoil on my hair daily after styling.

If I curl my hair, then I add this glossing cream to the curls.

If I'm not washing my hair, then I use this Batiste Dry Shampoo.  I'm a fan of dry shampoo.  Pretty much any and every kind, but this is my very favorite.

A friend (wanna take a guess who) gave me some Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Bath and Body Works a couple years ago in the fall and I was hooked.  Definitely my favorite fall body scent.

I shared my favorite nail polishes here.  Looking forward to pulling out the darker fall colors ASAP!

Don't forget on Monday, August 31st, Andrea and I are hosting a Favorite Things Party and sharing our FAVORITE summer moment. Here is the list for the other party dates.  We'd love for you to join us!

Have a GREAT weekend, Ladies!!  XOXO

I totally agree, I am ready for some dark nails! I want to try that eyeshadow stick but I'm scared I will look like a clown if I don't know how it works. My go to mascara is always Falsies by Maybelline!

We are SO tired over here too! Dang, the first week took it's toll! I can't believe you try a new shampoo every time! I think my hair would revolt against me if I did that. I got it cut yesterday and I bought something from Amanda that I'm supposed to spray on my wet hair right before I dry it. It's supposed to smooth it out and help it dry faster. I'll let you know how it goes!

I have got to try that eye shadow stick! I need easy when it comes to my make up routine. My favorite mascara is They're Real by Benefit. It's fantastic! Happy Friday.

One, the eye shadow stick is my favorite thing! So super simple to use and the color lasts all day. And two, your friend who likes the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin must be super cool and smell really good :).

I really do need a good leave in product and I've heard great things about it's a 10, I need to try that! I use a mix of three different kind of mascara, depending on my mood that day. I really need to find just one that I LOVE though.
Have a great weekend! (:

Mascara, L'Oreal voluminous :) it is probably the only drugstore product I use but I love it. There are several varieties but I like the carbon black. I like waterproof so I layer regular then waterproof.

I know you love Benefit's They're Real! mascara just like I do...I recently tried their blue one and it's AWESOME!! Every time I wear it out, I get compliments and asked which brand it is. They also have it in brown, which I plan on trying next. My other favorite is Tarte's Lights, Camera,'s SO good!!!

I think I have tried every mascara out there....while L'Oréal's Voluminous always ranks up there, I think I have found one better. It is Too Faced Better than Sex mascara. I find it only takes a few swipes to get dramatic looking lashes and I've never had a problem with smudging. Only downside would be that it can get clumpy quicker than other mascaras, but for me, it's worth that small hassle to have thick lashes quickly.

I love Clinique high impact mascara in black brown. It is my all time favorite!
