Our Halloween celebrations started early....Bowen and Ashby celebrated with a little party in their preschool class. Wearing pajamas and eating cupcakes? My kind of party!
Shay and I have attended many parties at preschool, but this was our first one with kids in the favorite class! They're going to have a GREAT year!
Please excuse the HORRIBLE picture!! I had to document that in the midst of baseball, dance, and LOTS of football this cutie and I had DATE NIGHT!! WAHOO!
When I picked the kids up from school on Friday, we had to run to the grocery store for candy. On our way out, the skies opened up and it poured down rain. We were all soaking wet and laughing so hard. You know how some girls can have wet hair and they look gorgeous?? That wouldn't be me...I turn into a drowned rat! (Don't be alarmed no one was buckled yet.)
Friday night our church hosted a Trunk or Treat. Because of the rain, it was all in the gym. These booths were cute! Some groups went all out. We had the best time going from group to group trick-or-treating.
Bowen's preschool teachers were there! He was in shock. ha!
Mr. Eric is Bowen's Sunday morning teacher. Bowen was so shocked to see him dressed up like a clown he lost all his words. Seriously...he couldn't speak.
These groups had a Wizard of Oz theme and were adorable!
Nix conveniently (haha) left his mask in the car, but we stumbled upon another Big Bad Wolf. We had to take a picture!
Nixon's favorite booth. :)
Love this girl!
Saturday we were crazy lazy all day long until it was time to head out to trick-or-treat.
We started off the night with dinner at the Shulls' house. (Delish of course!!) And then headed out to trick-or-treat in their neighborhood.
I'm not sure if they're supposed to look scared or scary here. Either way...#happyhalloween
Shockingly enough these two were not too scared to get some candy. :)
My favorite picture of the night....those creepy things in the back started moving!!
Then we moved the party to Mrs. Andrea's neighborhood.
We had a few more families join us and we made them wait patiently until they arrived. Trick-or-treating is fun, but trick-or-treating with friends is the BEST!!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend too!!
