Hello Monday!
Today Andrea and I are sharing our favorite summer moment. We have had some amazing moments this summer...
We went to the beach in Destin, Florida, and had a fabulous family vacation.
We bought a new house and sold our old one.
We celebrated Independence Day at our town's parade with lots of friends.
We made tons of amazing memories at the pool.
Ebby Lee got a new summer 'do and she turned 12. ha!
Tab and I enjoyed a night out with some of our besties.
We took a little trip to Missouri to visit family and Nixon looked super cool the whole time.
We celebrated Tab's birthday football-style.
And these two brothers enjoyed every last minute before we sent Nixon to kindergarten.
But when I thought back to this summer, one moment stood out to me. This one...
If you read the blog this summer, then you know we moved. We spent several days with and without movers moving our family of five just a couple miles down the road to a new house. After several exhausting days of moving (you guys know what I'm talking about!! Isn't moving a BEATING?) the moment above happened and we felt like it was all worth it. I still had no clue where ANYTHING was in our house and we might have even "bathed" in the new pool that night. #wishiwaskidding We live really close to an area that every once in a while shoots off fireworks. A new neighbor happened to mention there would be fireworks that night. We heard them from our house and walked over to watch. Seriously....it was icing on the cake after an exhausting move and a moment I'll always remember. Thankfully there were lots of new neighbors watching fireworks too or I might have started sobbing with relief. hahaha! It was definitely my favorite moment of the summer.
