Show and Tell-What Makes Me-ME!

Welcome to Show and Tell Tuesday!

I'm joining Andrea and sharing a little about my little part of the world.  Today we're sharing what makes us unique...the quirky, funny, and interesting parts.

You guys know I'm a wife to Tab and mama to Nixon-6, Bowen-3, and Ebby Lee-7.

I am a work-from-home mama who blogs, is a Rodan and Fields' consultant, and plans vacations all  while keeping our house running smoothly.  (Well, at least that's my goal.) Tab has a real 9-5 job and on the weekends can be found officiating college football games.

I always describe myself as Type AB...meaning I prefer for my life to be super organized but I need someone to come over and get it organized for me.  hahaha!  #truth

Tab would tell you when we first got married I was MESSY!  I have come a LONG way in this department, but at any given moment the inside of my car is sure to be a disaster.  I'm telling you often times when my kiddos hop out of the car-other things roll out as well...water bottle, toy, Bowen's nap mat.  ha!  You name it-it's probably happened.

Your face would look like me above if you took a look inside my purse.  That is if I'm carrying one.  ha!  I prefer to just carry my keys, wallet, and phone loosely, in a pocket, or in my hand.  Trust me...I'm working on this one.

I have the worst memory about certain things.  For instance, Tab will ENSURE me he told me he was out of town for business on a random Wednesday night.  I will be certain he never told me.  But odds are, I can tell you at any given moment where Ebby Lee's dark turquoise bow is, where Nixon's football cleats are, or where Bowen's toy dragon is.  I mean.  WHY does my brain store so much random info.  RIGHT?  Anyone else?  The point is-I write EVERYTHING down, so I don't forget.  :)

When I'm solo parenting and get the kiddos in bed, I OFTEN reward myself with a sweet treat...brownie, ice cream, a bowl of cereal.  It doesn't really matter, but it's my way of high-fiving myself at the end of a long day.

I try my best to keep my outlook on life-lighthearted.  There's SO much heavy all around us. I try to be a light for others around me.

I tried and tried to think of new fun and quirky things about myself.  I'll try to keep a running record of any great confessions I randomly remember.  I'll keep you posted.  :)

The purse thing continues to boggle my mind. And you talking about your car reminded me that MY EARRING IS STILL IN YOUR CAR! If you ever find it, don't even tell me. I threw the other one away years ago! :)

I am terrible at remembering certain things, too. It helps to write things down, but sometimes I even forget then! Something I am working on. :)

I mean...when you show up places and have nothing in your hands and no purse, I'm always amazed. You just look so carefree and light while I'm tugging a giant tote loaded down with who knows what. I love that about you. I love that you can tuck a credit card in your pocket and go for the day :).

Hahaha!!! I totally forgot about that. It's like my car has a black hole and once you enter-there's not running back. Your earring is proof!

Hahaha! We all have our thing we have to work on. Right? ;)

It's all fun and games until you're buying my meal because I don't know where my credit card is. Hahaha!

My car is awful too. So much stuff in there. And yep I feel like I'm AB too.

Oh my word I'm the exact same way with the purse situation! I carry around my debit card, phone, and keys and people think I'm nuts! Probably is why I lose my debit card or license at least once every few months! 🙈

Hi! I stumbled across your blog last week and love it :) I'm so similar with the purses! I usually just carry my wallet phone and keys, or I jam my id and credit card in my pocket. I have also accepted my husband probably told me things I seriously don't remember. Whoops! :)

Erika, My truck looks the same way. I try to keep it clean so I'm not embarrassed at the carpool drop off but I'll be honest it doesn't always happen... I also would rather just carry my keys, phone, and a card instead of a purse.

I am totally type AB also!!! :)
My Tahoe can be very scary at times..it's either spotless or very dirty filled with crushed goldfish & kids papers everywhere.

You have the perfect little family! I love all your children names! Hahaha Tyoe AB. That was really clever. I think I'm that type as well. My purse is like my throw everything in there because I have no other place to put it. I can't find anything in that thing lol! Hope you have an amazing week <3

Have you seen the phone case with built in card holders? Then you only need your phone/wallet and keys! The one I have hides the card inside and you can't tell there are even cards in the case :)

Hahahaha, you and I are EXACTLY the same memory-wise. Glad I'm not alone!
